Notice of Force Majeure

Further to our notification published on April 18^th, please be informed of our force majeure declaration for all products of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) produced at this plant effective immediately. Products produced at this plant that are impacted include: Gohsenol^TM, Gohsenx^TM, and Nichigo G-Polymer^TM.

Due to the vast destruction in the Kumamoto prefecture area due to this earthquake, we have limited access to our plant. For the time being we are unable to determine the exact nature of the damage to our plant in order to predict when our plant will be back in operation. Though the extent of the impact is not yet fully known, we are issuing this notification today to ensure that you are aware of the situation.
